Weird Title. Yeah i know that. But cant help that because the changes my blog went thru, all the reveamped and renovated look which you see now is only because of Sidrah and Misha ! Former for the blog and latter for comment and that tag conversation. Love yah both, my 2 shezaadies ! :D

2nd part of the title is obviously in relevence to the new Noori track on air 'Kuttay (te tau uttho) ' . My love for noori goes back nearly 5 years when i first heard Manwa Re and I Love You for honda city ad. I fell in love, instantly. I got both of them from a friend of my brother's who eventually gave me the earliest bootlegged recording of Noori which included Manwa Re, I Love you, Khalla, Ooncha, Saree Raat Jagga and Mujhe Roko. Those were te days of audiogalaxy and NO ONE had heard of noori, manwa re wasnt even on air during that time. Noori boom exploded and i vividly remember the time when i actually did NOT play u2 for a whole week, all of it was dedicated to Noori. Brilliant. I dont care whatever people might say about them, i will almsot always defend the band. I have this kind of emotional attachment with them which i have with U2. Despite the fact that noori undertook loads of stupid decisions and rubbish , but none of it will deter me from not loving the band. Met with the guys few times and Lord of the Bass, Jafri sahib a few other times as well. As sidrah will put it, claiming i seriously need some nooragra but i say, keep them away. i AM a Noori groupie :p

Back to the song. At first listen, i found it a most lame and crappy ass song because of name. Finally got to hear it week and a half back and it took me THIS saturday to finally make a conclusion whether i like the song or not. I do.
At first listen, song comes out as a very wanna be attempt to be rock and whatever, but it actually grows on in a while and the solo , despite being a very short one is awesome !! The fact that hamza is also sharing vocal chords is a very nice change but the best thing about the whole scene is that ALi Noor himself finally got bck to his lead Guitar. That itself will improve noori's performance tenfolds ! Lyrics are still the achilles heel of noori and this one , despite having a very ambiguious and somewhat abstract meaning , people arent able to much understand the song because of its fast pace and hardcore Punjabi !! They can only hear words which are usually considered expletives. My take is that you need to play this song LOUD, and just rock on this number ! its that kind of adrenaline pumping song. Definitely not the best noori effort but not as bad as people are calling it.
